Maybe it’s not so much the PC this time as the damn mail program, Firebird. Everyone knows Outlook and Outlook Express suck like there is no tomorrow, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how Firebird does its outgoing mail servers. It’s basically telling me that I only need one, even though […]

I’ve tried Dreamweaver for the Mac and it has always been like wading through a swamp of molasses compared to the PC version. Bloated, sluggish, not very responsive, no good way to organize multiple windows - just not a good experience. Maybe I’m due to give it another try.

It’s apparent from your fairly regular posts on the topic that for you the entire Windows experience, Dreamweaver excepted, is appalling. Seems like suffering through web development with BBEdit, or TextMate or skEdit or *anything* would be a reasonable trade-off. Of course I hate Dreamweaver on *any* platform.

Yeah, I’m just loathe to change my workflow, too. Otherwise maybe BBEdit would do it for me. You’re right, though. Other than the fact that I enjoy using DW on the PC, I don’t need the PC for much else, other than testing webpages on Windows browsers. But I could do that on my wife’s Dell if I needed to. That is, until I buy her a Mac mini, which is pretty much inevitable.

Yup, I already Gizoogled myself. “Ryan Masuga is a web bitch trippin’ in West Michigan”. Sounds about right.
